WWI 89th Infantry Division Uniform and Helmet
Item: WWI366

Original WWI uniform jacket and helmet.  Jacket has an 89th division 177th infantry patch stitched to the sleeve.  Collar disks are "US" and medical.  Tag at neck is washed out, looks to be a property tag for the original owner.  Manufacture's tag is at the bottom hem.  Mad by Zeeman & Grossman August 2, 1918.  Only damage are the two large holes on the front near the buttons, and some holes on the inside not visible when the jacket is buttoned. Patch is very nice.  It's embroidered on wool felt.  Helmet is British manufactured.  Missing the liner.  Has the 89th/177th insignia painted to both sides. I do not know the soldier's name these belonged to.
